What Sparkasse exports itself
- CSV
- MT940
- CAMT
- PDF statements
Where to find it
Transactions can be exported from online banking as CSV, MT940 or CAMT. Usually 90 days are visible online, up to 445 days back in the app; each Sparkasse decides how long transactions stay retrievable.

When you still have to convert the PDF
Anything outside the retrieval window, closed accounts and client statements that arrive as PDFs. DATEV import also needs MT940 or camt, not CSV.
- Statements you receive from clients, mandates or counterparties as PDFs
- Accounts that have since been closed
- Periods before electronic export was activated
- Accounting software that requires camt.053 or MT940 when the bank only delivers CSV or PDF
How we convert your Sparkasse statement
You upload the PDF, we extract the transactions and reconcile: opening balance + credits − debits = closing balance. You receive Excel, CSV or camt.053 and a check note within 48 hours. If it does not close, we say so and refund the statement.
Can FinVerify process Sparkasse statements?+
Yes. We work without bank templates and check every Sparkasse statement individually for balance reconciliation. Text PDFs and scans are fine.
Do I need FinVerify if Sparkasse offers camt.053?+
No, if you run the account yourself and the period is covered: download camt.053 directly. FinVerify is for third-party statements, closed accounts and periods before camt was activated.
