Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 September 2026 · Deutsch

1. What the Service is

FinVerify, operated by PivotalPoint OÜ, converts PDF bank statements you upload into Excel, CSV or camt.053 files and reconciles each statement: opening balance plus credits minus debits must equal the closing balance printed on the statement, within one cent. A person performs or checks the conversion. You receive the file and a short check note by email.

The Service is not a check of a document’s authenticity, a fraud check, or accounting, tax or legal advice. A reconciled statement means its own numbers are internally consistent, nothing more.

2. Price, payment, delivery

  • CHF 9 per statement of up to 10 pages; CHF 29 for 12 such statements. Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is made before upload through Stripe. Uploads made without a completed payment are processed only after a payment link sent by email has been paid.
  • Delivery within 48 hours on business days (Monday to Friday, Swiss public holidays excluded), usually faster.
  • Statements longer than 10 pages count as one statement per started block of 10 pages. We tell you before processing if this applies.

3. If a statement does not reconcile

If the balances do not close and we cannot identify the cause, you still receive the converted file, clearly marked as not reconciled, together with the discrepancy amount and the location where we suspect the error, and we refund the price of that statement. If the cause is in the source document itself (for example a missing page or a bank-side rounding note), we tell you and no refund is due.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You are authorised to have the uploaded statements processed, including any third party’s statements.
  • You review the output before using it for accounting, tax, legal or regulatory purposes. You remain responsible for that use.
  • You do not upload malware, non-statement documents or content you have no right to process.

5. Data

How we store, protect and delete your files is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: Zurich only, deletion within 24 hours of delivery, no use for testing or training, no AI processing outside Switzerland/EU without your opt-in.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a conversion is limited to the price paid for that conversion. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from use of the output without the review described in section 4. Nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence.

7. Refusal and termination

We may decline a conversion and refund it in full, for example if the file is unreadable, is not a bank statement, or if processing it would expose us to legal risk.

8. Governing law

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Place of jurisdiction is Lausanne, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
